Epilogue: A Journey of Growth and Change

It has been a fulfilling journey, filled with creativity, collaboration, and growth. Since 2011, TLD Labs, also known as "Top Level Domaining," has proudly served its clients, striving to deliver quality web design services. Yet, as with all good things, there comes a time for an ending.

In recent years, circumstances have presented unforeseen challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic, rising costs, inflation, and shrinking profit margins have significantly impacted our business. Coupled with the increasing expenses for domains, hosting, and software licenses, we found it difficult to maintain operations without adequate market and customer support. While we have always aimed to support our clients and their businesses, the financial and logistical pressures have led us to the difficult decision of winding down our operations.

Over the past two years, we have communicated the gradual sunset of our business, ensuring a smooth transition for our clients. As part of this transition, all holdings, including domains, hosting, and related assets, have been migrated to personal accounts. This migration means it is no longer possible to access any existing domain or hosting systems under TLD Labs, and this change may also impact other assets previously hosted or managed on such accounts.

Going forward, in this post-COVID landscape, our clients are welcome to seek the services of our former team members on an individual or freelance basis. However, please be aware that rates will reflect current market conditions and must be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

We also want to clarify that there will be no warranties for websites built before 2020 due to the deprecation of software support, the end-of-life of certain support libraries, changes in web standards, or changes in our team composition during and after COVID.

We sincerely thank you for your support over the years. TLD Labs was a collective experiment in the web business, and we are deeply grateful for this journey together. However, we also recognize and respect the desire of our team members to pursue personal growth beyond our framework. We will do our best to support you in your endeavors, but please note that we cannot offer any guarantees or warranties beyond 2020.

Finally, we ask that our former team members be treated with the respect they deserve. Any attempt to contact them without their consent or to pressure them for support will not be tolerated. They are fully entitled to seek legal recourse if necessary.

Thank you once again for the trust you placed in us. While this chapter comes to an end, we hope that the relationships and work we have built will continue to thrive in new ways.
